PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 10th January, 1865.

I HEREBY notify that the Chairman of the Annual meeting of the Electors of the District of Kaiparawhore has, in accordance with the provisions of the “Highways Act, 1862,” presented to me in writing the names of the undermentioned Gentlemen, elected Highway Trustees for that District:—

Donald McInnis.
Malcolm McInnis.
Alexander McKenzie.
Hugh McKenzie.
John Piper Richardson.
Robert Graham,
Superintendent.


QUEEN STREET WHARF.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 28th December, 1864.

In pursuance of the authority vested in me, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, make the following additional Regulations for the management of the Queen Street Wharf:—

  1. In addition to the charges enumerated in Section 25 of the existing Regulations, there shall be made the following charges:—

For every Four-wheeled
Vehicle drawn by one
horse (One Shilling) ...... 1 0
For each additional horse
(Sixpence)................. 0 6

  1. Carts and other vehicles used solely for conveying water for the purpose of watering the streets shall be exempt from toll.

  2. Custom-House Quay, and the Wharves or Jetties running therefrom, shall, for the purpose of the above regulations, be considered to be a portion of Queen Street Wharf.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.

Manukau Harbour.

NOTICE is hereby given that the inner fairway buoy in the South Channel of the Manukau has been removed, and a cone buoy with a barrel beacon on top and painted red has been placed in 4 fathoms, distant from the N.E. end of Treachery Shoal about one cable. This buoy should be left on the Starboard hand going in.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.

“The Debtor and Creditors Act, 1862.”

In the matter of the Petitions of Allen Stewart, of Auckland, Settler; George Ridings, of Auckland, Wine Merchant; William Stephenson, of Auckland, Builder; Henry Charles Cosier, William Taylor, and Robert Carr, all of Auckland, Brewed Water and Liquor Manufacturers; and Andrew Miller Dick, of Auckland, Settler; John Pickering Dagnall, of Auckland, Settler; and James Syvret, of Papatoitoi, Carpenter.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Creditors of the above-named Debtors are, on or before the twenty-sixth day of January instant, to come in and prove their debts at the Court-House, Auckland; and Notice is further given, that a Sitting of the Court will be holden at the Court-House aforesaid on Friday, the twenty-seventh day of January instant, at seven o’clock in the forenoon, for the hearing of the Petitions of the above-named Debtors, and for the despatch of all business accruing under the said Act.
