I HEREBY notify, for the information of all Persons concerned, that, in conformity with the provisions of the Crown Lands' Ordinances (No. 1, Session 10, and No. 10, Session 11), I have convened meetings of the holders of Depasturing Licences in the several under-mentioned Hundreds, and that the Persons whose names are subjoined have been duly elected by such holders to be Wardens, under the said Ordinances, for the current year.

For the Hundred of Auckland.—Francis Bycroft.
For the Hundred of Onehunga.—Thomas O’Brien, John O’Neill, Francis Stapp.
For the Hundred of Panmure.—William Wylie, William Head, Patrick Quinlan.

PROCLAMATION.

By ROBERT GRAHAM, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

WHEREAS an infectious disease known as Pleuro-Pneumonia has broken out amongst the Cattle in the Province of Auckland, and it is desirable to check the spread of such disease.

And whereas, by a warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, bearing date the fifteenth day of September, 1863, the said Governor, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, delegated to the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, certain powers conferred upon him by the “Diseased Cattle Act, 1861,” subject to certain regulations to be made by the Governor in Council under the said recited Act.

Now, therefore, I, Robert Graham, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, in pursuance of such delegation do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, that part of the Province of Auckland, lying South of a line running West from the Whau Bridge to the sea shall be and be deemed to be an Infected District, within the meaning of the “Diseased Cattle Act, 1861.” And in further pursuance of such delegation, I, the said Superintendent, do hereby make and ordain the following Regulations, which shall be in force in the said District of the Province of Auckland until the 23rd day of February instant.

REGULATIONS.

No person shall drive, or permit to be driven, any cattle infected or otherwise over
