THE following Requisition and Notification are published for general information.

Sir,—We, the undersigned, beg to request that you will call a Public Meeting of the Inhabitants of Auckland, to be held at the Old Court House, on Friday next, the 9th instant, at noon, for the purpose of adopting measures called for by the present crisis in the public affairs of the Colony.

to be Harbour Master at the Port of Waikato.

I HEREBY notify that by virtue of the powers vested in me under "The Marine Board Act, 1863," I have appointed
Goldwin Robert Breton,
to be Pilot for the Port of Waikato.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.

THE DEBTORS AND CREDITORS ACT, 1862.

In the matter of the Petition of Andrew Kerr, of Auckland, Butcher; James Synott, of Auckland, Settler; and Andrew Miller Dick, of Auckland, Settler.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Creditors of the above-named Debtors are on or before the Nineteenth day of December instant to come in and prove their Debts at the Supreme Court Office, Auckland. And Notice is further given that a sitting of the Court will be holden at the Court House, Auckland, on Tuesday the Twentieth day of December, instant, at Eleven o’clock in the forenoon, for the hearing of the Petitions of the above-named Debtors, and for the despatch of all business accruing under the provisions of the said Act.

N.B.—The Proof of Debts must in all cases in the first instance be by affidavit.
