PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
Additional Rules and Regulations for the management of Public Slaughter Houses, and persons employed therein.
In virtue of the powers in me vested in that behalf, I do hereby make and promulgate the following additional Rules and Regulations for the management of Public Slaughter Houses, and the government of persons slaughtering cattle and otherwise employed thereat.

No person shall cart or convey any carcass, or part of a carcass, unfit for human food, or any cattle in an injured or dying state, into any slaughter house, without the express permission of an Inspector or Sub-inspector of slaughter houses.

No person shall in any slaughter house, skin or dress any animal, or part of an animal, unfit for human food.

All persons working in any slaughter house, shall be subject to the orders of an Inspector, or Sub-inspector, of slaughter houses, and in the event of any person refusing, or delaying to obey the orders of any such Inspector, or Sub-inspector, he shall be deemed guilty of an offence against these rules.

The rules and regulations hereby made, shall come into operation on the first day of December, 1864, and shall be construed as in addition to the rules and regulations now in force dated the 17th day of November, 1863.

Situation.—Wanganui Island, Coromandel Harbour.
Boundaries.—Bounded on the south, west and north by the sea, and on the east by a line, (being the boundary of the surveyed portion of the Town of Coromandel.)
