Delivery of Scoria Ash from Mount Eden to Cemetery and Kyber Pass Roads, at per yard 3s. 3d. 3s. 10d.
Delivery of Scoria Ash to Parnell Road and as far as the Junction Hotel, at per yard 3s. 3d. 4s. 6d.
Delivery of Stone or Broken Metal from the Stockade to Cemetery Road, at per yard 2s. 8d. 3s. 0d.
Delivery of Stone or Broken Metal to Kyber Pass Road, at per yard 2s. 8d. 3s. 0d.
Delivery of Stone or Broken Metal to Parnell Road and as far as Junction Hotel, at per yard 2s. 8d. 4s. 6d.
Delivery of Stone from the Stockade to the Gaol, at per yard 3s. 3d. 4s. 6d.
Service of one Horse Drays, at per day 10s. 0d. 18s. 0d.
Service of two Horse Drays, at per day 13s. 0d. 25s. 0d.

KARAKA FERRY SERVICE.

ACCEPTED TENDER—(the only one received).

£4 per month.

The following Regulations for the working of the Karaka Ferry, and the fares chargeable, are published for general information:—

The Contractor will have to convey goods or passengers across the ferry at any hour he may be required, for which he will be authorized to make the following charges, viz.:—

From sunrise until sundown throughout the year:

Foot passenger 0 6
Horse ditto 1 0
Head of horned cattle 0 6
Sheep or goat 1 0
Pig or calf 0 3
For all goods, per cwt. 0 3

From sundown until 10 o'clock p.m., one-half more than the above rates.

From 10 o'clock p.m., until sunrise, double the above rates.

The Contractor will be required to provide for the Ferry Service two good boats, and to keep the same clean, in good repair, and well found.

FOR ERADICATING AND DESTROYING NOXIOUS THISTLES WITHIN THE UNDERMENTIONED SUB-DISTRICTS, FROM 1st JULY, 1864, TILL 30th JUNE, 1865.
