26th September, 1863.
SIR,—I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatches, Nos. 71 and 74, of the 3rd and 6th of July, forwarding various loyal and dutiful Addresses to the Queen which had been placed in your hands congratulating Her Majesty on the occasion of the Marriage of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales with Her Royal Highness the Princess Alexandra, of Denmark.
I request that you will inform the different Public Bodies and persons by whom they are signed, that the Addresses have been laid before the Queen, and were most graciously received by Her Majesty.
The Addresses to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, which likewise accompanied your Despatches, will be duly submitted to His Royal Highness.

IT is hereby notified that the Native Title has been extinguished over the block of land whereof the boundaries are mentioned or described in the Schedule hereunto annexed.

PROVINCE OF AUCKLAND.
District of Whangarei.
Maruarua Block, estimated to contain 800 Acres.
BOUNDARIES.
Commencing at a Point on the Ohopu Creek in the Papakauri Swamp, and following thence along the boundary line of the Mirowhakatiki Block, bearing 13° 51' 9670 links, 1° 0' 10,002 links to Ngatoha, thence along a survey line bearing 277° 50' 4808 links to the Bay of Islands road, thence along that road to a line bearing 196° 15', thence along the said line 2236 links to the Maruarua Creek, thence down the Maruarua Creek to a line bearing 161° 50', thence along the said line 2870 links to the point of commencement.
NOTICE.

Auckland, December 8th, 1863.
DEPASTURING Licenses within the proclaimed Hundreds will be issued under the Crown Lands Ordinance, No. 1, Session 10, and No. 10, Session 11, and “The Crown Lands Act, 1862,” to all persons being occupants of Land under Crown Grants; or in the case of Pensioners, Natives, or Half-Castes, by permission of the Crown, applying for such License on or before the 1st January, 1864.
These Licenses will be issued at the Waste Lands Office, on payment of a fee of ten shillings and sixpence for each.
