TENDERS TO BORROW £3,000.
Auckland Grammar School Accumulated Endowment Revenues.

Auckland, 18th November, 1863.
TO be Lent on Mortgage, for such period as may be agreed upon, the sum of Three Thousand Pounds (£3,000.) Tenders for the above specifying the rate of interest, the nature and particulars of the security proposed to be given, and the length of time for which the Loan will be taken, will be received at this office until Noon of WEDNESDAY, the 9th day of December next.
The above being Trust Funds it is sought to obtain first-class security rather than a high rate of interest.
Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Loan.”

AUCTION OF SUNDRY TOLLS AND THE SLAUGHTER-HOUSE FEES.
Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 17th November, 1863.
THE undermentioned Leases, for the twelve months commencing 1st January, 1864, will be disposed of by Public Auction, at Noon of WEDNESDAY next the 9th December next at Mr. Samuel Cochrane’s Mart, Fort-street, viz.:
- Lease of fees levyable at the Public Slaughter House, Newmarket.
- Lease of Tolls levyable at both Toll Gates, Newmarket.
- Lease of Tolls levyable at the Queen-street Wharf.
- Lease of the Crane Dues levyable on the Queen-street Wharf.
Conditions of the several Leases may be seen at the Auction Mart on the day of sale, or at this office prior to that date.

N.B.—The average amount of Tolls taken each week at the two Gates at Newmarket, has been £40 12s. since the beginning of October last.
NOTICE.

Auckland, 17th November, 1863.
WHEREAS “The Auckland Waste Lands Act Amendment Act, 1862,” came into operation on the 1st day of September, 1863. The following clause thereof is published for general information:
“All lands which may have been, or may hereafter be selected under any Land orders issued under the Auckland Waste Lands Act 1858, or under this Act shall be forfeited to the Crown, unless a Crown Grant of such Lands be applied for within twelve months after the passing of this Act, or within twelve months after the person who has made or may make such selection shall become entitled to such Grant.”
