Auckland, 29th June, 1863.

I HEREBY notify for general information,
that Writs issued by me on the eighth day
of June, instant, for the election of two mem-
bers of the Provincial Council for the District
of the Northern Division, has been returned
with an endorsement thereon as follows:—

"I, Laughlin O’Brien, the Returning Officer
for the Electoral District of the Northern
Division, do hereby declare that in pursuance
of the Writs to me directed bearing date the
eighth day of June, 1863, the undermentioned
candidates are duly elected members of the
Provincial Council of the Province of Auck-
land for the said District.

Dated this twenty-second day of June,
1863."

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By Robert Graham, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Pro-
vince of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers
vested in the Superintendent in that
behalf, I hereby notify for public information,
that all those pieces or parcels of land enu-
merated in the Schedule hereunder written, will
be offered for sale, at the Survey Station,
Puhou landing place, on the 6th day of
August, 1863, as special settlement land.

Given under my hand, at Auck-
land, in the said Province,
this thirtieth day of June,
one thousand eight hundred
and sixty-three.
