PROCLAMATION.
By ROBERT GRAHAM, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Council of the Province of Auckland intituled "the City Board Act, 1863," it is amongst other things enacted that the said Act shall come into operation on a day to be named by the Superintendent, notice whereof shall be given in the Provincial Government Gazette at least fourteen days before such day.
Now, therefore, I, the Superintendent of the said Province of Auckland, do hereby proclaim and declare that the said "City Board Act, 1863" shall come into operation on the fifteenth day of May, next ensuing.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, in the said Province, this twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

NOTICE.
I HEREBY nominate and appoint GEORGE MAURICE O’ROURKE, Esq., to be Returning Officer under the provisions of the "City Board Act, 1863."

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By ROBERT GRAHAM, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
PURSUANT to the powers vested in me by the second clause of the "Highways Act, 1862," I do hereby declare that the lands comprised within the several boundaries hereunder described, shall be a district under the said Act, and that such district shall be known by the name thereto prefixed, that is to say,—
THE NORTH TAMAKI DISTRICT.
All those lands, bounded on the North by the Sea; on the East by the Hundreds Boundary Line from the Sea to Lot, No. 100, of the Parish of Pakuranga; on the South by the Middle of the Road, extending from Lot 100 aforesaid, South of Lots, Nos. 258, 253, 255, 247, 182, 181, 180, 179, and 241, all in the Parish of Pakuranga.
On the South West by the East Tamaki District, and on the West by the Pakuranga Highways District, excepting the village of Howick, including all roads traversing the lands within the before mentioned boundaries.
Given under my hand at Auckland, this twenty-third day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.
