PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 6th January, 1863.
I HEREBY notify for general information, that a Memorial, signed by a majority in number of all persons having such interest in the District of Wangarei as is required by the “Highways Act, 1862,” praying that the operation of the said Act may be extended to the said District, has been received by me:
And I do hereby declare that the “Highways Act, 1862,” shall henceforth be in full operation within the said District of Wangarei.

NOTICE is hereby given that all persons claiming a right to vote at the election of a Board of Trustees for the District of Wangarei, under the “Highways Act, 1862,” are to send in their claims to Sir S. Osborne Gibbes Bart., Justice of the Peace, Wangarei, on or before the 1st day of February next, and that such claims must be in the form following:

Number of Allotments Occupying Tenant.
Number of Acres.
Nature of Qualification.

J.P., (the person named to have my name enrolled as a voter for the election of Trustees for the District of Wangarei, (as Landholder, Lessee, or Mortgagee, in pursuance of the “Highways Act, 1862,” and that the particulars of my place of abode and qualification are as follows:—
