R. B. LUSK, Provincial Accountant.

Superintendent’s Office, 10th October, 1862.

I hereby certify that I have examined the above statement of the Provincial Accountant for the Quarter ended 30th September, being the third financial Quarter for 1862, and find it correct as an account and balance sheet of transactions for that period; that the vouchers have been correctly rendered and receipted and the expenditure classified in accordance with the provisions of the Appropriation Act, subject to the exceptions stated in the Memorandum at the close, shewing separately the expenditure without the authority of law.

B. MACLEAN,
Dep. Provincial Auditor.

Auckland, 27th October, 1862.
