PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
Superintendent\'s Office,
Auckland, 26th August, 1862.
I HEREBY notify for general information that a Memorial signed by a majority in number of all persons having such interest in the District of Mangarei as is required by the "Highways Act, 1862," praying that the operation of the said Act may be extended to the said District, has been received by me;
And I do hereby declare that the "Highways Act, 1862," shall henceforth be in full operation within the said District of Mangarei.

NOTICE is hereby given that all persons claiming a right to vote at the election of a Board of Trustees for the District of Mangarei, under the Highways Act, 1862, are to send in their claims to John Grigg, Esq., Justice of the Peace, Otahuhu, on or before the 29th day of August instant, and that such claims must be in the form following:β
To John Grigg, Esq., J.P. (the person appointed by the Deputy of the Superintendent to receive claims).
I hereby give notice that I claim to have my name enrolled as a voter for the Election of the Highway Trustees for the District of Mangarei (as Landowner, Lessee, or Mortgagee, in possession, as the case may be) and that the particulars of my place of abode and qualification are as follows:β
