PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 20th August, 1862.

I HEREBY notify for general information, that a Memorial, signed by a majority in number of all persons having such interest in the district of Tamaki East as is required by the “Highways Act, 1862,” praying that the operation of the said Act may be extended to the said district, has been received by me:

And I do hereby declare that the “Highways Act, 1862,” shall henceforth be in full operation within the said district of Tamaki East.

NOTICE is hereby given that all persons claiming a right to vote at the election of a Board of Trustees for the district of Tamaki East under the Highways Act, 1862, send in their claims to William Goodfellow, Esq., Justice of the Peace, Otara, before the 28th day of August instant, and such claims must be in the form

Form of Claim.

To William Goodfellow, Esq., J.P. (the person appointed by the Deputy of the Superintendent to receive claims).

I hereby give notice that I claim to have my name enrolled as a voter for the election of the Highway Trustees for the District of Tamaki East (as Landowner, Lessee, or Mortgagee, in possession, as the case may be), and that the particulars of my place of abode and qualification are as follows:—

Christian Name and Surname of Claimant, at full length. Place of Abode. Name of Qualification. Number of Allotments, and Section and Name of Occupying Tenant (if any) and situation of Property. Number of Acres. Allotment (or freeholder, or both, or mortgagee in possession, as the case may be.) ... of the Parish of ... (or part of, as the case may be.) (Signed.)
