THE following Bill is published, previously to its introduction into the Provincial
Council, in accordance with the provisions of the "Diversion of Roads Act,
1858."

ROAD ACT No. 2, 1862.

IN THE TWENTY YEAR OF THE REIGN OF HER MAJESTY QUEEN
VICTORIA.

ANALYSIS:

Title.
Preamble.

  1. Road in Schedule A to be closed.
  2. Land may be granted to Edward Con-
    stable.
  3. Land described in Schedule to be opened
    as a Road.
  4. Short Title.

AN ACT to close up a certain Road in the Parish of Waiuku, Title.
in the Province of Auckland, and to authorise the Governor
to grant the land occupied by the said Road to Edward Con-
stable, and to open a new line of Road over certain other lands
in the said Parish, the property of the said Edward Con-
stable.

WHEREAS it is expedient to close up the Road mentioned and Preamble.
described in Schedule A to this Act annexed, and to open a new
Road in lieu thereof over the Land described in Schedule B to this
annexed: And whereas the said Road so to be closed as afore-
said passes through certain Lands the property of the said Edward
Constable: And whereas the Lend mentioned and described in the
said Schedule B is the property of the said Edward Constable who
has consented that the same should be laid out as a Public High-
way upon receiving a grant in fee simple of that piece or parcel of
land described in Schednle A, and at present used as a Public
Road.

BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland, by and with the advice and consent of the
Provincial Council thereof as follows:—

  1. From and after the passing of this Act, the said Road Road in Schedule A
    mentioned and described in the Schedule A to this Act annexed to be closed.
    shall be closed.
