Local Byelaws and Tender Acceptances




At a meeting of the Wardens of the Hundred of Howick, it was agreed as a Bye-Law, That any person or persons allowing Cattle to run at large within the said Hundred (without being duly licensed), shall forfeit and pay the sum of Ten Shillings (10s.) for each and every head of Great Cattle, and Five Shillings (5s) for each and every head of Small Cattle.
