NOTICE.

I HEREBY notify for general information that I have appointed

Mr. Joseph Lawry Vercoe,

to enter upon any land situated within the “Auckland District,” or the “Auckland Northern District,” for the purpose of ascertaining the existence of any noxious Thistles thereon, and eradicating or destroying the same.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this twenty-second day of February, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-one.

Be called the Kumeu Road District, and that the period within which all claims to the right of voting at the election of the first and every succeeding Board of Commissioners for such District shall be made, shall be between the first and the thirty-first day of July in each and every year.
