by Mr. J. Dilworth, for trespass and damages in his enclosed grass paddock at Onehunga.

One Red Steer, white spot on face, white flank, no visible brand.
Damages, 5s.—Owner unknown.

If not claimed within eleven days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above-mentioned Steer, agreeably to the provisions of the "Impounding Act, 1856."

LICENSING MEETING.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual Licensing Meeting of the Justices of the Peace for the districts of Drury, Papakura, Walroa, Mauku, and Waiuku, will be holden at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, at Drury, on the 17th day of April, 1860, at 12 o’clock, noon, for the purpose of taking into consideration applications for Licenses to sell Spirituous Liquors, Wine, Ale, and Beer. Also—for receiving applications for the transfer of Publican’s Licenses.

VICTORIA, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Queen: To Stannus Jones, of the City of Auckland, Auctioneer, Greeting: Whereas an Action has been commenced in the Supreme Court of the Colony of New Zealand, wherein William Kibblewhite is Plaintiff, and Joseph Fielding is Defendant: And Whereas it has been made known to us that there are monies and personal property belonging to the said Joseph Fielding now in the hands or in the custody or under the control of you the said Stannus Jones: We command you that you do not sell or otherwise dispose of or part with the said monies and personal property of the said Joseph Fielding or any part thereof until the further order of our said Court shall be made known to you.

Esquire, Chief Justice of our Supreme Court of the Colony of New Zealand, the twelfth day of March, 1860.
