Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 19th March, 1860.

I would therefore take the liberty to suggest that your Honor would give some notice that it would be necessary for the efficient working of the contracts that settlers should forward information to the Inspector relative to the existence of Thistles.

I have the honor to be,
Sir,
your obedient servant,
F. D. Rich.
Inspector of Thistles.

To his Honor the Superintendent.

PROCLAMATION.

By John Williamson, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

WHEREAS by Proclamation issued under my hand, and dated the 24th day of September, 1859, I did proclaim and declare that all that Block of Land known as Puke-Karoro, in the Parish of Kaiwaka, containing 8,458 acres, shall be reserved and set apart for certain Immigrants expected to arrive from the United Kingdom:

Now therefore, pursuant to the authority vested in me in that behalf, I, the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby revoke the said Proclamation.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this nineteenth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty.

J. Williamson,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
