PENALTIES FOR IMPOUNDING
The following penalties, and may be impounded by the Wardens or any person acting by their authority.
For each horse over one year old, Ten Shillings; under one year old, Five Shillings;
for every head of horned cattle over one year old, Five Shillings; under one year old, Two Shillings and sixpence; every Sheep, sixpence.

IMPOUNDED
at the Public Pound, Newmarket, by H. Lamb, for Mr. A. Buckland, for trespassing in his enclosed grass paddock at the Three Kings,
7 Black and White Pigs.
If not claimed within eleven days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above mentioned Pigs, agreeably to the provisions of the “Impounding Act, 1856.”

1 Red and White Cow, hoop horns, branded M off rump, tomahawk brand off ribs, illegible brand, near rump, like W.

No damages claimed. Owner unknown.
If not claimed within eleven days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above mentioned Cows, agreeably to the provisions of the “Impounding Act 1856.”
