GREAT NORTH ROAD.
Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 4th April, 1859.
TENDERS will be received at the Roads Office, until noon of Monday, the 18th inst., for the performance of certain work required in the repairs of a Bridge in the Wainui District, on the above line of road.
Plan and specifications can be seen on application at the Roads Office, where printed forms on which Tenders are required to be sent in may be obtained.
Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Repairs of Bridge, Great North Road.”

IMPOUNDED at the Public Pound, Otahuhu, by John Grigge, for trespass in his enclosed grass paddock at Otahuhu:—
1 yellow and white poley Cow, mark in off ear, branded R near rump, WR (conjoined) off rump
1 red Heifer, open horns, 2 years old, branded JF off shoulder
1 red Heifer, white back, belly, and tail, open horns, no brand
1 dark brindle Cow, white belly and back, open horns, no brand
1 yellow and white poley Cow, mark in off ear, branded B, or R, near rump, illegible brand off shoulder and rump.
Damages 1s. each. Owner unknown.
If not claimed within 11 days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace, for an order for the sale of the above mentioned Cattle, agreeably to the provisions of the “Impounding Act, 1856.”
