LICENSING MEETING.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual Licensing Meeting of the Justices of the Peace for the Districts of Howick and Panmure will be held at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, at Howick, on Tuesday the 19th of April next, at twelve o’clock, noon, for the purpose of taking into consideration applications for the sale of Spirituous Liquors, Wine, Ale, and Beer.

IMPOUNDED at the Public Pound, Otahuhu, by Wm. Absolom, for trespass in his enclosed grass paddock at Otahuhu:

1 dark strawberry Heifer, white tail and belly, and star in face, open horns, blotched brand and W near ribs.
Damages, 5s. Owner unknown.

If not claimed within eleven days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above mentioned Heifer, agreeably to the provisions of the “Impounding Act, 1856.”

IMPOUNDED at the Public Pound, Otahuhu, by Edwd. Cooper, for trespass in an enclosed Paddock at Ihumata—

1 red and white Cow, open horns, branded 7 off rump. Damages 5s. Owner unknown.

If not claimed within eleven days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above-mentioned Cow, agreeably to the provisions of the “Impounding Act, 1856.”

IMPOUNDED at the Public Pound, Newmarket, by J. Makepeace, for trespass and damages on his enclosed grass paddock, at the Three Kings,

One Bay Filly, white streak on the face, branded Ω on the off rump.
Damages, 5s. Owner unknown.

If not claimed within eleven days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above mentioned filly, agreeably to the “Impounding Act, 1856.”
