PROCLAMATION.
By JOHN WILLIAMSON, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by an Act made and passed in the fifteenth and sixteenth years of the reign of Her present Majesty, intituled "An Act to grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand," it is amongst other things enacted that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent, by Proclamation in the Government Gazette, to fix such place or places within the limits of the Province and such times for holding the first and every other Session of the Provincial Council as he may think fit.
Now, therefore, pursuant to the authority in me vested in that behalf, I, the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby proclaim and declare, that the twelfth session of the Provincial Council shall be holden at Auckland, and shall commence on Tuesday, the thirty-first day of January next; and the Members of the said Council are hereby warned to give their attendance at the said time and place accordingly.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, in the said Province, this thirteenth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine.

PROCLAMATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
WHEREAS by the "Thistle Act, 1858," it was amongst other things enacted that it should be lawful for the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland from time to time by Proclamation in the Provincial Government Gazette, to declare that the said Act should come into operation within any District, and thereby to proclaim the limits of the District.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the power and authority in me vested, I, the said Superintendent, hereby proclaim and declare that the said "Thistle Act, 1858," shall, on and after the fifteenth day of December instant, come into operation within the Karangahape District, and the limits of the said District shall be β on the North, the Northern boundary of Lot 1 of the Parish of Waipapakura; on the East, the Waitemata Creek and Harbour, the Whau Creek, and the Whau Portage; on the South, the Manukau Harbour; on the West, the Sea; and on the North-west, the North-western boundary of the Waitakerei Block, the Wairere Stream, the Western boundary of the Parish of Waipareira, and the Kumeu Stream.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, in the said Province, this thirteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine.
