On the N. by the Hundred of Howick, down Otara Creek to the Tamaki, crossing the Tamaki to Otahuhu by the Otahuhu Portage, and by the Manukau harbour; on the W. and S. by the Manukau, to the S.E. boundary of Clendon’s Grant; on the S.E. and E. by the boundary of Clendon’s Grant, and by the boundary of the Hundred of Otahuhu.

DEPASTURING Licences within the proclaimed Hundreds will be issued under the Crown Lands Ordinance, No. 1, Session 10, and No. 10, Session 11, to all persons being occupants of land under Crown Grants, or,—in the case of Pensioners, Natives, or Half-castes—by permission of the Crown, applying for such licence on or before the 1st January, 1860.

These licences will be issued on payment of a fee of ten shillings and sixpence for each.

AUCKLAND HARBOUR ENDOWMENTS.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By John Williamson, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

Under and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent in that behalf by “The Harbour Endowments Act, 1859, No. 2,” I hereby notify for public information that the Lease for Ninety-nine (99) years, at a nominal rental, of each of the pieces or parcels of land enumerated in the Schedule hereunder written, will, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, on THURSDAY, the 22nd day of December next, at the Waste Land Office, be offered for sale by Public Auction.

Terms of Payment.—One-third of the purchase money for each allotment, to be paid in cash on the day of sale; one-third within three months, and one-third within six months from that day, with interest at the rate of 8 per cent. per annum.

Given under my hand at Auckland, in the said Province, the seventeenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine.
