I HEREBY notify that the Run described below has been claimed by

SITUATION—On the North Shore.

BOUNDARIES—Bounded by a stream running Easterly, known as Smithson’s Creek to its source, thence to the boundary line of the hundred of Pupuke, to within a mile of the Coast, thence running along within a mile of the Coast to Mr. Shepherd’s land on the Okura, thence in a straight line to the head of Lucas’ Creek, excluding private property.

ESTIMATED EXTENT—(1800) eighteen hundred acres.

NUMBER AND DESCRIPTION OF STOCK UPON THE RUN—(50) fifty head of horned cattle.

If not claimed within eleven days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above-mentioned cattle, agreeably to the provisions of the “Impounding Act, 1856.”
