QUEEN-STREET WHARF.

Auckland, August 27, 1859.
WHEREAS in pursuance of the authority vested in me by the “Wharf Regulation Act, 1858,” I have with the advice and consent of the Executive Council made certain regulations which were duly published in the Provincial Government Gazette on the 23rd day of August instant: And whereas it has been deemed advisable to alter the said Regulations. Now, therefore, I give notice that in further pursuance of the said authority I have with the like advice and consent made the following regulation:—
The Master or owner of every vessel of more than Twenty tons Burthen, Custom House measurement, occupying a Berth alongside the Wharf or Jetty known as the Queen-street Wharf, shall pay for the said Vessel the sum of one farthing a ton for every day the said Vessel shall occupy the said Berth in lieu of the sum mentioned in the 4th clause of the said Regulations. All vessels under the said measurement shall, subject to the said regulations and all other regulations in force within the Port and Harbour of Auckland, be permitted to occupy Berths alongside the said Wharf without paying any sum for such occupation.
