Ordinance, to be called the East Tamaki District, and that the period within which all claims to the right of voting at the first and every succeeding Board of Commissioners for such District, shall be made shall be between the thirtieth day of May and the thirtieth day of June in each and every year.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this fourth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine.

BRIDGE AT WAIKAUKAU CREEK, KAIPARA PORTAGE.

Superintendent’s Office,
12th May, 1859.

TENDERS will be received, at the Provincial Road Surveyor’s Office, until noon of Monday, the 30th instant, for the erection of a Wooden Bridge over the above-named Creek.

Plans and specifications can be seen, and other information obtained on application at the Provincial Road Surveyor’s Office.

Tenders to be endorsed "Tender for the erection of a Bridge over the Waikaukau Creek."

BUILDING STONE.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, May 2nd, 1859.

TENDERS will be received at the Provincial Road Surveyor’s Office until noon of Monday, the 16th inst., from parties desirous to purchase, at per cubic yard, a quantity of Stone, suitable for Building purposes, now ready for removal from the Mount Eden Stockade.

Further information can be obtained on application at the Provincial Road Surveyor’s Office.

IMPORTERS of Gunpowder are requested to take notice that, in accordance with the arrangements of the Military Store Department, Gunpowder cannot be received at, or issued from the Magazine at a later hour than 3 o’clock, p.m.

I HEREBY notify for general information that I have appointed

Mr. JOHN HIGGINS,

to inspect, and to give written permission, for the landing of Sheep at the Port of Auckland.

IMPOUNDED at the Public Pound, Otahuhu, by Heme Karana, Native, for trespass in an enclosed crop of Potatoes and Corn, at Mangari,

1 white and yellow Bull Calf, straight horns, no visible brand.

Damages, 5s. Owner unknown.

Impounded by James Foley, for trespass in an enclosed paddock, at Otahuhu,

1 strawberry Cow, red neck, branded LS off rump.

No damages claimed. Owner unknown.

If not claimed within eleven days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above mentioned Calf and Cow, agreeably to the provisions of the “Impounding Act, 1856.”

IMPOUNDED at the Public Pound, Otahuhu, by John Grigg, for trespass in an enclosed Paddock, at Otahuhu,

1 roan Steer, white face, open horns, piece out of top of off ear, 1½ years old; no visible brand.

Damages, 1s. Owner unknown.

If not claimed within eleven days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above-mentioned Steer, agreeably to the provisions of the “Impounding Act, 1856.”
