Auckland, December 13th, 1858.

TENDERS will be received at this office until noon of Monday, the 27th day of December, inst., for furnishing the Provincial Government with the undermentioned supplies, in such quantities as may be required, during the six months commencing the 1st January, 1859, upon the conditions hereinafter specified.

FIREWOOD—TEA TREE.

Of the usual lengths
Lengths, cut and split to suit office fire-places.

Tenders to state the price per ton at which the above will be delivered at the Gaol, the Hospital, the Lunatic Asylum, Stockade, Mount Eden, and the several public offices.

RATIONS.

Gaol, at per ration
Lock-up at do.
Destitute persons at do.

Separate tenders to be sent in for each service. Information may be obtained at this office.

STOCKADE, MOUNT EDEN.

At per ration
Straw, at per ton of 2240 lbs.
Oil, Sperm, at per gallon
Cotton wick, at per lb.
Information may be obtained at this Office.


POLICE.

Oil, at per gallon
Cotton wick, at per lb.

PROVISIONS FOR PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL AND LUNATIC ASYLUM.

The articles to be delivered at the Hospital and Lunatic Asylum, at the expense of the Contractor, and to be subject to the approval of the Provincial Surgeon as to quality.

Tea and sugar, No. 1 Company’s
Oatmeal
Treacle
Arrowroot, fine flour
Pearl barley
Sago, suet
