PROCLAMATION.
By JOHN WILLIAMSON, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, in the
Colony of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by an Act made and passed in the Parliament holden in the fifteenth and sixteenth years of the reign of Her present Majesty, intituled "An Act to grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand" it is amongst other things enacted that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent, by proclamation in the Government Gazette, to fix such place or places within the limits of the Province, and such times for holding the first and every other Session of the Provincial Council as he may think fit.
Now, therefore, pursuant to the authority in me vested in that behalf, I, the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby proclaim and declare that the ninth Session of the Provincial Council shall be holden at Auckland, and shall commence on Monday the 4th day of October next; and the members of the said Council are hereby warned to give their attendance at the said time and place accordingly.
Given under my hand at Auckland this 19th day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-eight.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 17th August, 1858.
HEREBY notify for general information that in accordance with the power vested in the Superintendent by the "Auckland Waste Land Act, 1858," the Land hereinafter described has been reserved and set apart as A PLACE FOR THE INTERMENT OF THE DEAD:
All that allotment of land, being a portion of lot 98 of the Parish of Waiuku East, in the County of Eden, bounded on the N.E. by a road 1250 links, on the S.E. by lot No. 10 of the Parish of Puni 870 links, and on the S.W. and N.W. by a stream.
