NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Special
Meeting of the Justices of the Peace for
the Districts of Onehunga, Panmure and
Otahuhu will be held at the Resident
Magistrate’s Court, Onehunga, on Wednesday,
the 4th day of August next, at the hour of
eleven o’clock, a. m., for the purpose of granting
Slaughter-house Licences, in accordance
with the provisions of the 6th clause of the
“Slaughter-house Ordinance,” Session VIII,
No. 5.

Persons desirous of obtaining Licences as
aforesaid must, ten days before such Meeting,
give to the Clerk of the Bench a notice in
writing of their intention to apply for such
Licence, and must describe in the said notice
the house or place intended to be licensed.

TIMBER.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 23rd July, 1858.

TENDERS will be received at this Office
until noon of Saturday, the 31st inst.,
for the supply of such Timber as may be required by the Provincial Government from the
1st August to the 31st of December next.
Information can be obtained at the Roads
Office.

Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for the
supply of Timber.”

TENDERS will be received at this Office
on or before the 2nd August proximo,
from persons desirous of contracting for building a Boat for the Pilot Service at Manukau.
Model, plan, and specification of the Boat
required may be seen at this Office.

Tenders to be sealed and endorsed “Tender
for Boat, Manukau.”
