IN conformity with the Rules and Regulations for the occupation of Crown Lands, appended to the Waste Land Act, 1858, I hereby notify that the Run described below has been claimed by William Nicholls.

Description of a Run on the Waste Lands of the Crown.

Situation—Matamata.
Boundaries—The Uruhau, one half at the Northern end.
Estimated Extent—1250 acres.
Number and description of Stock left upon the Run—Fifty head of Cattle, one Horse.

PERSONS requiring the timber which has been cut down upon that portion of the Great South Road, which runs through Chisholm’s Bush, are informed that they can treat with the Road Surveyor for the purchase of the same.
No person will be allowed to remove any portion of this timber without permission from the Road Surveyor.

IMPOUNDED at the Public Pound, Newmarket, by G. Hamlin for trespass and damages on his grass paddock, at Panmure,
One white Cow, red ears, spotted about the head and neck, branded H (within diamond) on left rump, and other brands not legible,
A red and white Bull Calf, no brand,
One red and white Poley Heifer, no brand legible.
If not claimed within eleven days from this date, an application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above mentioned Cattle, agreeably to the provisions of the Impounding Act, 1856.
