NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the "Justices of the Peace" residing within the following districts, viz.:
- "The City of Auckland,"
- "The Suburbs of Auckland,"
- "The Pensioner Settlements,"
- "The Northern Division," and
- "The Southern Division,"
will be holden at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Auckland, on Monday, the 29th June, 1857, at twelve o’clock, noon, for the purpose of hearing and determining all objections to the Electoral Roll now in force, and the list of claims to the right of voting within the districts aforesaid, and of forming the Roll for the ensuing year of persons qualified to vote under the provisions of the New Zealand Constitution Act.

The Special Meeting will be held on the 29th instant, at the undermentioned places, viz.:
- The City of Auckland, in the Verandah of the Supreme Court House, Auckland.
- The Suburbs of Auckland, at the Windsor Castle, Parnell.
- The Pensioner Settlements, in the Pensioner Settlements, opposite the Panmure Inn.
- The Northern Division, at the Half-way House, Epsom.
- The Southern Division, at the Panmure Inn.
The attention of the Electors and Claimants to the right of voting is particularly requested to the Electoral Roll and List of Claims, in order that any mistakes may be corrected or any omissions supplied which shall be proved to be made therein respectively in respect of the name or place of abode of any person who shall be included therein, or in respect of the local description of his property by the Court, to be held on the 29th instant.
