NOTICE.

THE following List of Assisted Immigrants, embarked on board the Euphemus on the 8th of October last for Auckland, has been received, and is published for general information.

NOTICE.

A SPECIAL MEETING of the Justices of the Peace, for the City and District of Auckland, will be holden at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, at Auckland, on MONDAY, the 2nd day of February next, at 12 o’clock, noon, for the purpose of forming a Jury List for the ensuing year.

IMPOUNDED at the Public Pound, Hobson’s Bridge, Newmarket, by James Hamlin, for trespassing on crops at the Waipuna.

1 ox, poley, branded T on off shoulder

1 steer, red and white, branded M S on rump.

If not claimed within eleven days after the date of the notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for their sale, agreeably to the provisions of the Impounding Act, 1856.

SLAUGHTER HOUSE LICENSES.

January 2, 1856.

AT a Meeting of the Bench of Magistrates, held at Onehunga, on Wednesday, the 17th December, ultimo, Licenses for places for slaughtering cattle were granted to the undermentioned individuals:—
