CUSTOMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that, whereas provision can now be made by means of Insurance against losses of goods on which the Customs duties have been paid, either by fire or by any other casualty to which such merchandise is liable, no claim for drawback of Duty on property so destroyed will for the future be entertained by the Government.

LICENSING MEETING.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual Licensing Meeting of the Justices of the Peace for the District of Onehunga, will be held at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Onehunga, on Tuesday the 15th day of April, 1856, at 12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of taking into consideration, applications for Licenses to sell Spirituous Liquors, Wine, Ale, and Beer.
