PROCLAMATION.

By His Honour JOHN LOGAN CAMPBELL, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

BY virtue and in pursuance of the powers in me vested in that behalf by the provisions contained in the thirteenth section of the Regulations issued on the eighth day of February one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five by His Excellency the Officer administering the Government of New Zealand, for the sale letting, disposal, and occupation of the Waste Lands of the Crown within the Province of Auckland in the said Colony, I, the Superintendent of the said Province, do hereby, with the advice of the Executive Council thereof, proclaim and declare that the portions of land hereinafter described, shall be open for sale on and after the 28th day of March next ensuing.

All those portions of land set apart as special occupation land in the district of Waiuku, in the County of Eden, containing 10,000 acres more or less.

Sir,—I have the honor, by the directions of his Excellency the Governor, to transmit for your Honor’s information the accompanying letter, conveying the thanks of the Royal Commissioners for the effectual assistance rendered in New Zealand in carrying into effect Her Majesty’s gracious intentions regarding the Patriotic Fund. His Excellency would feel obliged if your Honor would give publicity to that letter in the Provincial Government Gazette.
