NOTICE.

I HEREBY notify for general information, that in accordance with the provisions of an Act for granting a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand, a writ having been issued for the election of a member of the Provincial Council for the undermentioned Electoral District, to serve in the place of John Williamson, Esquire, resigned, the Returning Officer of the said district has returned the said writ with a certificate to the effect that the undermentioned gentleman has been duly elected a member of the Provincial Council for the said district.
