THE SIXTH SESSION of the Provincial
Council will be opened by the Superintendent at the Mechanics’ Institute, on Tuesday, the 9th instant, at two o’clock.

UPSET PRICE—10s. per acre.
TENDERS will be received at this office
until noon on Monday, the 15th day of
December, 1856, for furnishing the Provincial
Government with the undermentioned supplies in such quantities as may be required during the six months commencing on the 1st
January, 1857, upon the conditions hereinafter specified.
FIREWOOD.
Of the usual size.
Tenders to state the price per ton at which
the above will be delivered at the several public
offices: the Gaol, the Hospital, the Lunatic
Asylum, and the Stockade, at Mount Eden.
FORAGE, &c.
Hay, at per ton.
Maize and bran, at per bushel.
Oil, at per gallon.
Cotton wick, at per lb.
Straw, at per ton of 2240 lbs.
RATIONS FOR GAOL AND LOCK-UP;
AND FOR DESTITUTE PERSONS.
At per ration, according to scale, respecting
which information may be obtained at this
office.
STOCKADE MOUNT EDEN.
At per ration, according to scale.

PROVISIONS FOR PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL AND LUNATIC ASYLUM.
The articles to be delivered at the Hospital
or Lunatic Asylum, at the expense of the contractor, and to be subject to the approval of
the Provincial Surgeon as to quality.
