PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By His Honor John Logan Campbell,
Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in me in that behalf by The Deeds Registration Act, 1856,' of the Local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, I, John Logan Campbell, Esq., Superintendent of the said Province, do hereby declare that the said Province is and shall be, on and from this first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-six, a Registrar’s District, for the purposes of the said Act, under the name of "The Auckland Deeds Registration District," and I do hereby, under and in pursuance of the powers aforesaid, appoint and declare that the office in the Town of Auckland hitherto used for the Registration of Deeds and other instruments, by the Registrar of Deeds for the County of Eden, is and shall be, on and from such day, and until another office shall be in that behalf duly appointed, the Register Office in and for the said District, for the purposes of the Act aforesaid.
Given under my hand, at Auckland,
in the said province, the first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-six.
