CONTRACTS FOR THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT.

Superintendent's Office, Auckland,
14th June, 1856.

TENDERS will be received at this office until noon on Friday the 27th instant, for furnishing the Provincial Government with the undermentioned supplies in such quantities as may be required during the half year commencing on the 1st July 1856, upon the conditions hereinafter specified.

FIREWOOD.

Of the usual size.

Tenders to state the price per ton at which the above will be delivered at the several public offices, the Gaol, the Hospital, the Lunatic Asylum, and the Stockade at Mount Eden.

PROVISIONS.

Biscuits and Flour, at per 100 lbs.
Fresh Pork
Salt Pork
Salt Beef
Suet
Sugar ... at per lb.
Tea
Raisins
Potatoes
Rice
Coffee
Peas at per bushel
Vinegar, at per gallon
Oil (black) at per gallon
Cotton Wick, at per lb.

PROVISIONS FOR PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL AND LUNATIC ASYLUM.

The articles to be delivered at the Hospital or Lunatic Asylum, at the expense of the contractor, and to be subject to the approval of the Provincial Surgeon as to quality.
