Māori Land Reserves

In answer to an application dated 23rd inst. last, to be furnished by the General Government with a Return showing the Lands reserved on account of the Maories, the following Return has been received and is now published for general information.

The pieces of Land marked thus are the only ones which can properly be called reserves. The other pieces were kept back by Natives when they sold the adjoining Land to the Crown.
