TENDERS FOR DEBENTURES.
Superintendent’s Office, Auckland,
24th September, 1855.
NOTICE is hereby given that Tenders will be received at this office, until noon of Wednesday, the 17th of October next, for the purchase of £10,000 of Debentures, under the “Debentures Act” of the Provincial Council of Auckland, Session IV, No. 1.
The Debentures will be issued in sums of not less than one hundred pounds; to bear interest for 10 years, at the rate of 10 per cent per annum, payable half yearly at the Provincial Treasury.
Parties tendering to state the amount of Debentures they offer to purchase, and the rate (not being below par) which they offer for each £100 of such Debentures.
The Tenders to be sealed, and endorsed “Tenders for Provincial Government Debentures.”

A meeting of the Justices of the Peace for the District of Onehunga, on the 29th of August last; Licenses for Slaughtering Cattle were granted to the undermentioned persons:
- Donald Ferguson, Queen-street, Onehunga.

- Nicholas James, ditto.
- Edward Wilson, Spring-street, ditto.
- William Taprell, Princes-street, ditto.
- Samuel Furley, ditto.
- Samuel Fleming, Sec. 6, Lot 6-7, ditto.

3rd September, 1855.
IMPOUNDED by Mr. Wood, for trespassing in an enclosed paddock at Remuera, 1 spotted Steer 18 months old.
Also,—by Mr. McEwan, for trespassing in an enclosed paddock at Piedmont, 1 red and white Bull Calf, 1 year old.
Also,—by James Patche, Ranger, for running at large on the Crown Lands in the Auckland Hundred, 1 bay Gelding, 18 months old.
If not claimed to be sold at the Public Pound at noon, on Saturday, 20th October next, agreeable to the provisions of the Impounding Ordinance, Victoria, 16, Sess. 8, No. 6.

Also,—By the Ranger of the Auckland Hundred for running at large on the Crown Lands—1 red and white poley steer, branded T on off shoulder.
If not claimed to be sold at the Public Pound at noon on Saturday 20th Oct. next, agreeable to the provisions of the Impounding Ordinance, Victoria 11, Sess. 8, No. 6.
