NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Justices of the Peace for the Districts of Onehunga, Panmure, and Otahuhu, will be holden at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Onehunga, on Monday, the 18th day of June next, at the hour of (12) twelve o’clock noon, for the purpose of granting Slaughter House Licenses in accordance with the provisions of the 6th clause of the “Slaughter House Ordinance,” Sess. 8, No. 5.

Persons desirous of obtaining Licenses as aforesaid must, ten days before such Meeting, give to the Clerk of the Bench a notice in writing of their intention to apply for such License, and must describe in the said notice the house or place intended to be licensed.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Justices of the Peace residing within the following district, namely:— “The City of Auckland,” “The Suburbs of Auckland,” “The Pensioner Settlements,” “The Northern Division,” and the Southern Division, will be holden at the Police Office, Auckland, on Monday, the 25th day of June next, at ten o’clock, a.m., for the purpose of hearing and determining all objections to the “List and Roll” of claims to the right of voting within the district aforesaid, and of forming the Roll for the ensuing year of persons qualified to vote under the Provisions of the New Zealand Constitution Act.

I, Alexander Shepherd, the Colonial Treasurer, do hereby certify that the above is a true account as required by the Ordinance No. 16, Sess. 8.

The sum of six thousand pounds (£6,000) has been remitted to England through the Commissariat Department for investment in the Public Funds of Great Britain.
