PROVINCE OF AUCKLAND.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Robert Henry Wynyard, Companion of the most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, &c.

WHEREAS, by an Act of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province, intituled “An Act to abate the Nuisance caused by Dogs,” it is amongst other things enacted that the said Act shall come into operation from time to time in such districts as shall be proclaimed by the Superintendent in the Auckland Provincial Gazette, to come within the operation of the said Act.

Now, therefore, pursuant to the authority in me vested in that behalf, I, the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby proclaim and declare that on and after the first day of October now next ensuing, the district comprising the village of Onehunga as the same is defined by the description hereto annexed, shall come and be within the operation of the said recited Act.

Given under my hand at Auckland this eighteenth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four.

Boundaries of the district referred to in the above proclamation as thereto annexed:—On the North—the Mount Smart Road from its junction with the western boundary of Section 30 to its junction with the Spring Road; on the East by the Spring Road; on the South by the Manukau; and on the West the western boundary of Section No. 38.
