NOTICE

Tenders for the execution of such Printing as may be required for the service of the Provincial Government during the six calendar months commencing on the 1st of July next.

Tenders must be in duplicate, sealed, and endorsed "Tender for Printing."

Specifications may be seen, and further particulars obtained, on application at this office.

The sum of Fifteen Thousand Pounds (£15,000) sterling, has been invested under the Warrant of His Excellency the Governor, in the public funds in England, through the Commissariat Department, by arrangements made through the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury.

NOTICE

WHEREAS, the blocks of land called Mangawai and Ruakaka, containing about 55,000 acres, situated near Whangarei, have been recently purchased from the natives.

Notice is hereby given that applications will be received at this office on and after the tenth day of July, 1854, from persons desirous of purchasing any part of the said blocks at 10s. per acre.

If more than one application for the same piece of land should be received during the usual office hours on the day above-mentioned, they will be regarded as simultaneous applications, and the land offered for sale by public auction, in accordance with the regulations of the 4th March, 1853.

His Excellency the Officer administering the Government directs it to be notified for general information that the License of Hannibal Marks, as a Pilot for the Port of Manukau, has been cancelled, and a License has been issued to William Champion, appointing him to be a Pilot for that Port.
