CONTRACTS FOR THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT.
Superintendent’s Office, Auckland,
June 5th, 1854.
TENDERS will be received at this office until noon on MONDAY, 19th June next, for furnishing the Provincial Government with the undermentioned Supplies, in such quantities as may be required, during the six months commencing on the 1st July, 1854, upon the conditions hereinafter specified.
FIREWOOD,
Of the usual size;
Of a size to suit the fireplaces in the public offices.
Tenders to state the price per ton at which the above-named sizes will be delivered on the beach, or at the several public offices, the Gaol, the Hospital, and the Lunatic Asylum.
HAY, at per ton.
MAIZE AND BRAN, at per bushel.
PROVISIONS.
Biscuit and Flour, at per 100 lbs.
Fresh Pork,
Salt Pork,
Salt Beef,
Suet,
Sugar,
Tea,
Raisins,
Potatoes,
Rice,
Coffee,
} at per lb.
Pease, at per bushel
Vinegar, at per gallon
Oil (black), at per gallon
Cotton Wick, at per lb.
PROVISIONS FOR COLONIAL HOSPITAL AND LUNATIC ASYLUM.
The articles to be delivered at the Hospital, or Lunatic Asylum, at the expense of the contractor, and to be subject to the approval of the Colonial Surgeon as to quality.
