SPECIAL MEETING of the Justices
of the Peace for the City and District
of Auckland, will be held at the Resident
Magistrate’s Court, at Auckland, on Tuesday,
the 6th day of December next, at twelve
o’clock, noon, for the purpose of receiving
applications for the transfer of Publicans’
Licences.

"BUSH" OR "SPECIAL" LICENCES
Civil Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 17th June, 1858.
His Excellency the Governor directs
it to be notified for general information, that in future all "Bush" or
"Special" Licences,
(except in the cases mentioned below) will be issued by the
Treasurers of the several Provinces yearly
to the persons who may have held them for
the previous years, on the same terms and
conditions as those upon which they were
originally granted, upon application being
made at the Treasuries at any time previous
to the 1st July in each year.
And FURTHER, that if a transfer, withdrawal, or alteration in the terms and conditions of any Licence, be desired by the Bench
of Magistrates in any District, or by the
Licensee, application to that effect should be
made to His Excellency the Governor in every
case before the 1st of May in each year, in
default of which, the Licence, if required to
be renewed, will be issued as above stated.
