PUBLIC NOTICE.
Crown Lands Office,
Wellington, 27th August, 1872.
THE undermentioned sections having
been declared to be Pastoral Land,
will be open for selection on and after
Friday the 27th day of September next,
viz :β
Sections from 212 to 219 inclusive, in
the Pahaua Block, East Coast District,
containing 7674 acres.
A plan of the sections is open for
inspection at this office.

it to be notified for general informa-
tion that
Mr. HENRY FRANCIS EAGER
has been duly elected for Ward No. 7, in
the Manawatu Highway District, in the
place of Mr. Frederick Martin, deceased.

Proclamation.
By His Honor WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, Esquire, Superintendent
of the Province of Wellington,
in the Colony of New Zealand.
I WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, Superintendent
of the Province of Wellington, do
hereby in pursuance of the Regulations in
this behalf proclaim and notify that the
several allotments of land situated in the
Pahaua Block, in the East Coast District,
in the Province of Wellington, and
specified in the schedule hereto, except
such as may be reserved under the pro-
vision hereafter mentioned, will be put up
for sale by public auction, at the Crown
Lands Office, in the City of Wellington, on
Wednesday, the second day of October,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
two, at twelve o'clock noon.
If at any time during the sale it may
appear to the Commissioner of Crown
Lands, beneficial or expedient for the
public service to reserve from sale either
of the sections specified in the said
schedule, or to vary the order in which
they are to be put up, he is hereby
authorized to do so.
Given under my hand, and issued
under the public seal of the
Province of Wellington, at
Wellington, this twenty-ninth
day of August, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-two.
