Crown Grants.
DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed by virtue of the Ordinance No. 15, Session XI, of the Legislative Council of the Islands of New Zealand to hear and decide Claims to Land by persons claiming Title thereto, from, through, or under the New Zealand Company, report that the Claims of the undermentioned persons having been duly referred to me for investigation, I do hereby decide that the said persons are respectively entitled to Crown Grants of the land set against their names in the annexed Schedule.

Sittings of the Supreme Court of New Zealand.
WELLINGTON DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given that a Sitting of the Circuit Court of the Supreme Court for the Wellington District of New Zealand for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business will be holden at the Court House in the Supreme Court Buildings, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Monday, the second day of March next, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, pursuant to proclamation, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances, prosecutors, witnesses, or defendants are required to give their attendance.
Notice is hereby further given that the Civil Cases will not be called on for trial until Monday, the ninth day of March next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, to which time the Sittings of the said Circuit Court will be adjourned after the conclusion of the Criminal Business.
The Supreme Court will sit in Banco on Monday, the 16th day of March next, at 11 o’clock.

LEVYING OF REPAIRING RATE.
Provincial Secretary’s Office,

NOTICE has been given to this Office under the hand of the Chairman of the Board that at a meeting of the Ratepayers held at the Queen’s Head, Thorn-don Flat, on Monday, the 27th January, 1868, a rate of nine (9) pence per acre was levied for the purpose of repairing the above District Road.
