Sittings of the Supreme Court.
SUPREME COURT.
MIDDLE DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Circuit Court of the Supreme Court, for the Middle District of New Zealand, for the Dispatch of Civil and Criminal business will be holden at the Court House in the Supreme Court Buildings, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Wednesday the 1st day of March next at ten o’clock, in the forenoon, pursuant to proclamation at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances Prosecutors, Witnesses, or Defendants, are required to give their attendance.
Notice is hereby further given that the Civil cases will not be called on for trial until Wednesday the 8th day of March, next at Ten o’clock, in the forenoon to which time the sittings of the said Circuit Court will be adjourned after the conclusion of the Criminal business.
The Supreme Court will sit in Banco on Wednesday the 15th day of March next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon.

Election of Wardens for the Tukupu Road District.

NOTICE is hereby given that it has been duly certified to this Office that a Meeting of Rate Payers of the Tukupu Road District was held at the house of Mr. Joseph Roots, Porirua Road, on the 3rd February, when the following persons were elected Wardens:

Carterton School District.
PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by an Act of the Second Session of the Provincial Council of Wellington, No. 6, intituled “An Act to promote the Establishment of Common Schools in the Province of Wellington” it is enacted that for the purposes of the said Act it should be lawful for the Superintendent by Proclamation to divide the Province into districts, and from time to time to sub-divide such districts and to re-unite any sub-divisions; and also by Proclamation to declare that the said Act should come into operation within such district or sub-division at such time as he might appoint: And whereas it is deemed expedient to proclaim that portion of the Province within the boundaries hereinafter set forth to be a district for the purposes of the said Act.
Now, therefore I, the said Isaac Earl Featherston, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that such portion of the said Province as is comprised within the township of Carterton, and delineated hereon, shall form and constitute a district for the purposes of the said Act, to be called the “Carterton School District.” And also that the said Act shall come into operation within such District on and from the day of the date of this Proclamation.
Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this Eighth day of February, 1865.

Dissolution of Partnership.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned as Newspaper Proprietors and Printers was on the 19th day of December, 1864, dissolved by mutual consent. The debts due to and the debts owing by the late firm will be received and paid respectively by the undersigned Thomas Wilmor McKenzie, by whom in future the business will be carried on.

Light House on Mana.
NOTICE.
Marine Board Office,
Wellington, 27th January, 1865.
THE Light on Mana Island, Cook’s Straits, will be exhibited on and after the 1st February, 1865. It is a fixed white light of the second order Dioptric, erected at the North West extremity of the Island, and is elevated about 450 feet above the sea level. The light will be seen in clear weather at a distance from 25 to 30 miles.
