CATTLE IMPOUNDING ORDINANCE, 1870.

NOTICE

APPOINTING A PUBLIC POUND ON ALLOTMENT NO. 2, BLOCK 25, IN THE TOWN OF CARLYLE.

In exercise of the powers vested in me by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Taranaki, intituled “An Ordinance to restrict the Trespass of Cattle,” Session XVIII, No. 7, I, Frederic Alonzo Carrington, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby notify that I have appointed the following place to be a public POUND for the purposes of the said Ordinance.

The Pound on allotment No. 2, Block 25, in the Town of Carlyle.

William John Whelan

is appointed keeper of the Pound erected on allotment No. 2, Block 25, in the Town of Carlyle.

MOUNTS due from the Provincial Government to the 31st December last, accounts of which were rendered prior to 10th ultimo, will be paid at this office on the 6th, 8th, 11th, 12th, or 15th inst. After the latter date the books will be closed.
