IT is hereby notified, that Writs issued for the election of Members of the Provincial Council of the Province of Taranaki have been returned with certificates to the effect that,—
For the District of the Town of New Plymouth:
Charles Douglas Whitcombe, David Callaghan, Arthur Standish, and William Mumford Burton, of New Plymouth, Freeholders;
For the District of Grey and Bell:

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Taranaki, intituled "An Ordinance to Restrict the Trespass of Cattle," Session XVIII., No. 7, I, Frederic Alonzo Carrington, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby notify that I have appointed the following place to be a Public Pound for the purposes of the said Ordinance:—
The Pound on the North side of Mokena-street, opposite allotment No. 61, Urenui Township.
